Domaine Piétri Géraud

It was at the end of XIX. century was born the Domaine Pietri-Geraud. It is operated by two women today: Maguy Pietri-Geraud and his daughter Laetitia.
Thus, five generations of winemakers colliourenqs will they succeed.
We cultivate 26 hectares of Domaine Pietri-Geraud, including 16.5 on the steep slopes of communes of Collioure and Banyuls.
It is on this last link of the Pyrenees, bordered by the Mediterranean Sea, that are based terraces of shale that form Collioure and Banyuls appellation; terroir rough, borrowing a strong identity, where everything still is cultivated by hand. The vines give the best of themselves but yields remain low: the Domaine Pietri-Geraud the average, depending on the year of 22hl / ha.
Our wines from the traditional and ancestral thought, are vinified and aged in the heart of the village, close to the Royal Castle and the famous Clock Tower. For forty years, by some coincidence, the Domaine Pietri-Geraud has spread to the Roussillon Plain, around a small village, Ortaffa. There, facing the Canigou, the clay-limestone soils give rise to tasty Muscat de Rivesaltes and Côtes du Roussillon and complement the range of Domaine Pietri-Geraud.
