Castelmaure

The cooperative winery Embres (pronounced embers) and Castelmaure is simply one of the best in France ...
Their high-end products have nothing to envy to those of the best areas of the AOC Corbières. A paradox, given the quantities produced, relatively modest he is not one of those cooperatives industry heavyweight.
Here there is a real expertise and an ethic that do wonders to Embres and Castelmaure, from the early 1990s management Question of rigor in the production of wine; the technique preserves without falling into the trap of technology enhanced blows of chemistry.
Patrick Marien, President of the cellar, and Bernard Pueyo, Director, are the architects of this progress. They are a bold and effective tandem in the early 1980s, disdained and malicious little visionary Cassandra announcing: "The cellar is dying, it's too small, you must grow in volume to survive."
Their perseverance, qualitative policy paid, and here's the proof ... Let us rejoice! Every corner of the thirst for wine lovers know their Cuvée "La Pompadour" and "Grande Cuvée" and the No. 3 all three remarkable.
