Castle Gold and Gueules was born in 1998. It is the family coat of arms of Diane Puymorin who gave this name to reflect its original colors the personality of the wines that are produced there; Gold for the size, wealth generated by the sun and the heat of the South and the Red (Gueules in old French) for the character, power and drinkable. The wines of Chateau d'Or and Gueules "have their own label. In three colors, they are personalized, detailed, subtle and promising." These are wines of assertive structure, which express the elegance and finesse. At the gateway to the Camargue on the way to Cassagnes between St Gilles and Generac on the southern slopes of Costières de Nîmes, the Chateau d'Or vineyards and Gueules enjoys a southern exposure - South / East and a perfect terroir of pebbles. The estate covers an area of 50 hectares. The red and rosé wines are from Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, Mourvèdre and Cinsault. The white wines are elaborated with Chardonnay, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne and Rolle. Castle Gold and Gueules is under the Label I love my land I protect environmental friendly commitment.
