Domaine Leyris Mazière

In the Gard scrubland between Nîmes and the Cévennes, the vineyard Domaine Leyris Mazière is located in Languedoc appellation AOP Sommières.
Manual harvesting in small crates, the optimum maturation and long maceration complement a culture of respectful vine ecology.
Finished fertilizers and chemical treatments, replaced by natural processes (Bordeaux mixture, sulfur, herbal decoctions, ...). Since 1997, Odile and Gilles started with 6 hectares of vines Syrah, Grenache and Cabernet and 2 hectares of old vines (Carignan, Alicante) to start the 1st cuvées for the sake of respect for the land and the individual.
