Mas de Figuier

Le Mas de Figuier is located 30 kilometers north of Montpellier in the Pic Saint Loup area to Vacquières. Four generations later, Sylvie and Gilles Pagès grow vines Mas pear.
The vineyard of 23 hectares of fig tree Mas is composed of clay and limestone soils as yellow and red clay, small rolls and angular crushed stone, ancient terraces of the Hérault and limestone gravel on different orientations at an altitude of 100 to 150 meters, which promotes beautiful thermal amplitudes in summer freshness.
The vines of Mas pear are worked in growing, allowing a beautiful mature berries and facilitates winemaking to find a nice balance in aging wine (tanks and barrels) over 14 months.
Harvesting is done manually in boxes, the yield is 30 hl / ha. The main varieties of the vineyard are Grenache (40 years old vines), Syrah (26 years old vines) and Carignan (40 years old vines). This allows the vines Mas pear make wine in three colors and give birth to a range in the quality / price / pleasure remarkable!
