Domaine Borie la Vitarèle led since 1990 by Cathy and Jean-François Izarn is located in Causses et Veyran in Hérault, on the appellation of AOC Saint Chinian.
Jean-François Izarn, winemaker of great value, recognized and appreciated by his peers, abruptly left the stage in spring 2014 following a tractor accident in his vineyard. The adventure of Domaine Borie la Vitarèle continues through the will of his wife Cathy and her daughter Camille, who took over with great courage the head of the operation and today continues his work, made of the best vintages ever qualitative level of the Saint Chinian, which Izarn Cathy has contributed.
The vineyard of Domaine Borie la Vitarèle 18 ha is cultivated in Bio since 1998, Ecocert certified in 2001 and certified Biodynamic (living soil, in harmony with the earth vine grapes fed terroir, unique wines reflections facets of nature).
The vines of the Domaine Borie la Vitarèle amid the scrub and pine forests, inhabited vines (life, plants and insects), vineyards under influences. In living soil, worked, roots in the depths to tap water and food. Head in the air, the vine breathes the liking of potencies and other herbal teas under the sun.
