Domaine La Rouette

Near Avignon, in Rochefort du Gard, the Guigue family for 4 generations operates the vineyards of Domaine de la Rouette.
Theodore started in 1926 the cultivation of vines and makes wine for trading. He transmits his passion to his son Roger and his son Joseph toddler who create the Domaine de la Rouette in 1974 to market their wine bottles.
In 1998 after Sébastien viticulture studies resumed Field of Rouette with Joseph and Genevieve parents. It modernizes and boosts designing new labels and new wine ranges.
In 2010, his brother Matthew joined after 10 years as a wine merchant in a renowned area of ​​the Rhone Valley. It develops and makes wine trade. Both set up a working philosophy combining tradition, terroir, respect for nature and modernism.
Their 20 hectare site in the Rouette friendly growing produce the greatest Côtes du Rhône grape varieties (Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Clairette ...) giving wines medalists qualities and referenced in several books.
