Domaine Meteor takes its name from a huge hole of 220 meters in diameter and 60 meters deep, whose origin could be a meteorite, fell there about 10 000 years. We planted a vineyard (Syrah) on the crater floor and to continue the mystery we gave our wines constellation names: The Perseids The Orionids, Leonids, Lyrides .... It all started a few years ago when geologists discovered the hole in the hills and came to investigate on site. To date, the site is unrated. Since then, many geologists, astrophysicists, passionate, clients, etc. come visit and spend at our wine shop Domaine Meteor to buy a few bottles of wine.
