Château Cabezac

Gontran Dondain, great wine enthusiast and specialist in food ingredients of health, acquired the Château Cabezac in 1997.
The latter is located in the Languedoc, in the region of the AOC Minervois, rich of a strong cultural past. It consisted at the time 34 hectares, including 28 in production. Since then, other hectares were acquired and certain lands are leased.
In 1998, the first vintage is developed with the help of laboratory Dubernet, the renowned law oenology, which seconded Catherine Tournier to oversee all assemblies. Important work on the vineyard and the cellar was made to accommodate the new vintage.
Moreover, the first vintage "Arthur" 1998 was a gold medalist at Macon in 2001. In 2004, Stephanie Dondain joined his father in the field, and in 2008 David Baudry, a young winemaker, arrived in turn . He immediately supervised the harvest, then collaborated with Catherine Tournier in the development of new vintages Château Cabezac.
