Domaine De Babio

The estate is located in the Hamlet of Babio dependent on the town of La Caunette (Hérault), in the heart of the Haut-Minervois (5 km from the city of Minerva). Perched 200 meters above sea level on the foothills of the Black Mountain (solid Espinouse), the vineyards of Domaine enjoy plenty of sunshine.

Taken over in 2003 by Cecile Weissenbach oenologist training and passion for wine, Domaine turned to quality production by practicing small yields and cultivation methods to obtain healthy and ripe grapes in the respect of the 'environment. The grapes are harvested mostly by hand and vinified traditionally. The wines produced show a beautiful terroir by their depth and finesse.
