At the heart of Clape was built on a rocky pedestal and vegetable, Chateau Pech Redon, away from the noise and the vicissitudes of the urban world, the center of a wildlife paradise and Flora, the rapture of colors and Mediterranean scents. Secret stone watchdogs, where history and time have left their mark these giants petrified, this sanctuary is dedicated to lovers of epicurean tranquility and charm. The serpentine road that leads to the area offering a spectacle of incredible splendor gaze then plunged across the Narbonne area to a sea that binds with the horizon. Communion is perfect between the man and the world that awaits him. I love knowing that Clape was an island once. Maybe even an archipelago. The Romans called it Insula Laci, Island Lake. All valleys where vineyards today niche, including the Château Pech Redon, then were ponds, the remains of an older time yet where émergeaint just some big rocks to the white cliffs which still sign the landscape. That's why there are so many marine fossils at 150 meters. The waters receded, leaving time and often winds sculpt this mineral décor, where the eye escapes to Narbonne north to the Mediterranean south. It's an incredibly preserved massive, wild again, as if men had instinctively felt that they were allowed to do it their place to the imperative condition not to disturb the harmony.
