Behind The Jamelles there since 1991 Catherine and Laurent Delaunay, two young winemakers from Burgundy whose family produces wines for four generations. After working in California, they were both captivated by the Languedoc-Roussillon in southern France. Catherine Delaunay, one of the few women in this profession, is the "winemaker" of Jamelles.
Throughout the year, and even more during the harvest, she travels the roads of the Pays d'Oc (Languedoc-Roussillon), the largest vineyard in the world, has a great variety in geography, sunny beaches of the Mediterranean Sea to plains of Béziers, the banks of the Rhône to the Pyrenees mountains.
