Domaine La Bouysse

"Without artifice, truth depends on the quality of wines that look like us, wine in our image." Domaine La Bouysse was created by Martine Pagès and his brother Christophe Molinier in 1996, as the logical result of a family history that worked the vine for 4 generations.
Between the Mediterranean and the Pyrenees, the vineyard is located in the heart of the Corbières in Languedoc, 20km west of Narbonne and 5km from the Abbey of Fontfroide, the famous vineyards of the same name and Boutenac. The winery Domaine La Bouysse is Saint Andrew of "Roquelongue," the name of the hill overlooking the village and the surrounding vineyards. As for the name "La Bouysse" it has originated from the Occitan dialect "bouisse" which means "the box".
Much of the vineyard of Domaine La Bouysse is made of vines aged 30 to 50 years, some older reach 80 to 100 years. They are organic conversion since the 2010 vintage, and accredited since 2013.
The main grape varieties are Carignan, Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre for the reds; White Grenache, Carignan and old Maccabeu, Viognier for the whites. We produce wines, IGP Hauterive, and designations, AOP Corbières & Corbières Boutenac, as well as traditional Cartagena. The wines of Domaine La Bouysse are present in France and abroad (Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, China, Taiwan, United Kingdom, Netherlands and USA). We are always looking for distributors on a human scale, with whom we share the same passion for wine "pleasures" and fruity, which express a terroir and whose raw material is respected.
